District Governor comes to town
District Governor Graham Jackson joined members of the Rotary Club of Rochdale at their weekly meeting on Thursday 16th October 2008.
Graham is a member of the Rotary Club of Salford and Swinton but with all his duties as District Governor he has little time to attend their meetings during his year in office. He is in high demand to attend the Charter Nights and regular meetings of the clubs in his district as well as meeting the GSE Team from Romania who are in District 1280 at present
25 members of our club will meet him again on 24th to 27th October 2008 when they attend the District 1280 Conference in Southport
Graham is urging the clubs in his district to raise the profile of Rotary and to raise funds for the Polio plus Project on Saturday 21st February 2009 which he has named Polio Eradication Day.
